Google Expands Local Services Ads Booking Partners From 20 to Over 500
Google has increased the number of booking partners available for Local Services Ads from approximately 20 to more than 500, enabling customers to book directly from ads on Search and Maps without advertisers needing to manually connect each integration.
What was announced
Ginny Marvin, Google's Ads Liaison, announced the expansion on August 26, 2026. The update applies to Reserve with Google booking integrations within Local Services Ads (LSAs).
What changed
Before this update, LSA advertisers could work with roughly 20 booking partners. The new count exceeds 500 partners — an increase of approximately 2,400 percent. The full list of integrated partners is published on Google's Reserve with Google partners page.
Details and availability
Google outlined three key changes for LSA advertisers:
Direct booking from LSAs: If a business's Google Business Profile already has an active partner booking link, that link is now automatically enabled for its Local Services Ad. No manual linking is required. Customers can book directly from the ad on both Search and Maps.
Lead tracking: Direct bookings flow into the LSA lead reporting system as paid leads. Advertisers can view and manage all booking leads within their Local Services Ads profile.
Controls: Advertisers can adjust booking preferences or disable specific partner links at any time through Profile & Budget > Settings in the LSA dashboard.
The booking settings will also carry over when Local Services Ads accounts transition into Google Ads in the coming months, as part of Google's broader LSA-to-Google Ads migration.
Context
Local Services Ads appear at the top of Google Search results for service-based businesses such as plumbers, electricians, cleaners, and salons. They operate on a pay-per-lead model rather than a traditional cost-per-click auction. The booking expansion follows two other recent LSA changes: Google expanded the eligible verticals and announced that starting October 1, 2026, advertisers will be charged for missed calls and subsequent callback attempts.
The partner list spans restaurant reservation systems (OpenTable, Resy, Chowbus, Chope), salon and beauty booking platforms (Fresha, Booksy, Vagaro), home service schedulers, and various regional scheduling tools across multiple countries.
What has not been confirmed
Google did not specify whether the auto-enabled booking links will affect lead quality metrics or conversion rates within the LSA reporting dashboard. The announcement also does not describe any change to how the booking feature influences ad ranking or visibility within the Local Services Ads placement.
